Bob Mack from MacDonald & Mack Architects and the College of Design (CoD) will talk about the new World Heritage program in CoD and their first venture in the ancient walled city at Baku, Azerbaijan. This World Heritage Site has structures dating from 600 BCE until the present day and is facing preservation problems ranging from basic repairs following an earthquake to controlling new development within the World Heritage zone.
