Join Our Board of Directors
Preserve Minneapolis has three open seats on its Board of Directors and is seeking applications from interested individuals living in the Twin Cities.
Director positions are considered for those residing in Minneapolis, owners of businesses and properties, those who work in the community, and currently active volunteers with the organization. We have a particular need for applicants with interest in finances, advocacy, communications, and marketing.
If you're passionate about Minneapolis history, preservation, and our community’s cultural resources, we'd love to hear from you!

In your letter, please include information regarding:
Your interest and/or background in preservation in Minneapolis (or elsewhere)
How you could help the board and the organization in its mission to improve the quality of life in Minneapolis by recognizing, preserving, and revitalizing the architectural and related cultural resources of the city of Minneapolis
Special skills, experience, or interests (etc.) that you would contribute to the board
The position is for a three-year term, with the possibility of additional terms.
The Board meets in downtown Minneapolis on the evenings of the second Monday of odd-numbered months (parking not provided on site and is the responsibility of each individual board member).
Additionally, board members are requested to serve on at least two committees, with the possibility of chairing committees. Current committees include: Events, Minneapolis Historical, Tours, Finance, Development, Communications, and Advocacy.
